As I galance back across my life

I question myself

Did I remember to thank you

For what you did for me?

I wonder if I said thank you

For the moment’s that we shared

Did I tell you I loved your smile

And I loved the way you always

Laughed when you were telling a story.

Did I say I was proud of your strength?

I am in awe of the love that

Surrounded your life.

If I forgot to tell you then

I am saying it today.
